Videos!

I have been trying to take more video's of my sweet boy - I just don't ever want to forget the way his little voice sounds or the sight of him running around and being silly, my sweet thing. So here is a little video from Mother's Day morning, we were snuggling and watching Cars, hence him ignoring me slightly :) He has taken to "whispering" a little lately so you may not hear it, but he says happy mothers day. The end is his favorite game, he lays on the pillows and we have to say "what is so lumpy?!" usually he can't contain himself before he screams "CONNOR!"

Nana and grandpa got him this awesome Harley for Christmas and it has finally been nice enough to start riding it! It took him a little bit at first, but he LOVES it now. He only knows how to keep the wheel turned so he goes in a big circle, sweet thing. He is most definately riding in his pj's :) And, don't worry we have a little helmet for him now for this and his bikes - though he isn't allowed anywhere near anything but the grass and the driveway with his little harley :)

Happy Mother's Day!

First of all, I took NO pictures on Mother's Day, can you believe it?! I couldn't - I always have my camera with me! I guess I was just having too much fun to stop and take any pictures, which isn't a bad thing :) We just had the best little Mother's Day weekend! My summer break started the Thursday before so we really had lots of reasons to celebrate. We played with the neighbors, went to Aunt Jen's work picnic and had the family over on Sunday. It was busy, but a lot of fun!

I woke up on Sunday morning to a little snuggle with my boys. There are few things in this world that I like more than snuggling with my boys, so it was the perfect way to start the day. After some breakfast and a little clean up, we were off to find some hanging and window baskets for the porch. I knew the only way Bj would go with me was if I told him it was my Mother's Day gift, haha! We found exactly what we were looking for and Connor found a Mac truck (thank you Big Lots, we love you!) it was home and time for some naps. We got the house ready and had the mom's and my grandma and Uncle's, and Aunt Jen over for dinner. It was the perfect night and I think everyone had a great time. We sat on the porch for awhile and just enjoyed each other's company. Connor had fun running around and playing with his new Mac - he kept running around going "Connor Love Big Lots!" hahaha! We are so thankful for our mom's and so thankful that we are able to live so close to them now, that is something we will never take for granted.

I am so thankful for the little boy who made me a momma - he is the best thing I have ever done and I love him to pieces. I just love being a momma and it's so fun watching him grow into such a sweet (and sometimes cantankerous) little boy. We have just had the best time hanging out on our summer break - I am so thankful for a job that allows me more time with my favorite boy. We hope you had a great Mother's Day too!

The Royal Wedding

I will start with the fact that I am a huge nerd, but I seriously loved watching The Royal Wedding. It was just so fun to watch and think about their new life together and the fact that she left the Abbey a Princess! I love it :) Bj actually told me he wouldn't mind watching it with me so I jumped on it :) My mom came over and we had a little dinner and then started watching. C watched too, so my "watching" was mixed in with some "play cars momma" too :) Connor and I baked all morning and got the house looking nice and pretty for the big event. We also made some crowns and tiaras, though C was the only one who wore his. And Nonny came over with her fancy hat on too!

How cute are those little cupcake toppers?! They were free printables from The Tom Cat Studio and I couldn't resist - I may have printed some off for Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day too :) I mean...with cute cupcake toppers you have to make cupcakes, right?! I also tried my hand at cake pops and I didn't succeed - they were not good at all. Does anyone have a good method?
My little cuters in his crown - we decorated them in the morning and just had fun chatting away about the prince and princess and their beatutiful wedding. By the way - she looked gorgeous, every single thing about the wedding was beautiful! They looked so happy and I had tears in my eyes, haha! As someone told me - it was just so nice to have something exciting and happy in and on the news to celebrate!

We have had a lot of rain here lately and by a lot, I mean a lot. I am so mad at myself for not purchasing a cute little pair of rain boots for this season, I just kept thinking the rain would stop :) Bj laughs at me beause I am the parent that doesn't mind the messes - he hates them! So, we didn't tell Daddy but we took a little time the other day to splash in some puddles (that are filling up our backyard)...a little rain never hurt anyone, right?! :) I mean...he had his rain boots on and it was an easy clean up!
