Gardenland Express!

Nana called the other day and said she wanted to do something fun with C for the holidays - we love spending time with Nana so we jumped on it! After looking we decided this was the best little adventure, Gardenland at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. This place holds a special place in our hearts as it is the site of our wedding reception! It was seriously the cutest little outing and C loved it!! Grandpa and Daddy were able to come too and we all had a great time.
The scene changes every year and they build these scenes from scratch starting in October. All of the flowers were real and gorgeous! I had no idea that poinsettia's came in so many colors! The detail of all the little train "towns" was unbelievable. The story was the Appalachain trail and it was SO neat! Connor was seriously running around staring at the trains, yelling "choo-choo" and "running" after them as they were chugging along. The little villages were darling and we already can't wait to go back next year!

He loved having Nana and Grandpa there to play with - he kept grabbing their hands and bringing them back to the displays :) His favorite was a little one in the corner, it had TWO trains going back and forth!

After the trains we enjoyed a little lunch on the hill, it was a great morning! Thanks Nana and Grandpa, we can't wait to do it again next year :)
