More Summer!

You may notice I love to take pictures of sleeping babies, I can't help it. I really don't know if there is much sweeter than a sleeping baby. Just sprawled out without a care in the world. I love it!
We took G to Grants Farm with us this summer and had a great time! Connor loves to feed the goats. It was crazy though for the first time EVER they weren't that hungry! We seriously had to throw some bottles back with milk left in them, we couldn't get a goat to drink.

Brotherly love while G and I enjoyed our free beer sample :)

The boys and I hung out at home while Daddy went to Indy this year. I wasn't sure how it was going to work with a brand new nursing baby so we decided to stay home - and we had a great little weekend! Connor was testing out his headphones. I can't believe it won't be long before Connor is joining us at the race!

Momma and her boys, these two make my heart so incredibly happy.

Future Indy car driver?! :)

More Grants Farm!

Love that happy smile and those big old blue eyes.

We didn't get to the pool as much as we usually do, we went a few times and it was almost too chilly! I laughed and said I should have taken advantage this year while Evy was too small to go anywhere :)

These two pictures crack me up, Evy isn't a really fussy baby but he is when he gets tired. Uncle Davey took these and I think that boy was upset because he wanted his momma :)

The Magic House! I want one of these rooms in our house - it was all tire rubber, Connor would have played in there for hours if I let it.

Shopping with Nonny, I adore this picture :)

Future Bluegrass Musician? He calls this his "cintar"

We did swim lessons this summer and they were a HIT! So much so I am hoping to find some indoor ones this winter.

Playing trucks together - I can't wait for more of this in our future :)

4 Months!

Somehow my little birdie turned 4 months old on the first! I can't believe how fast it is going, my sweet, sweet boy!
You are the happiest, sweetest, happiest, happiest little baby boy! You are also the nosiest little boy I have ever met :) You are so alert and always want to know what is going on.

At four months you are sleeping 8-10 hours a night - woo hoo!! Your poor Momma was getting really tired, but you are finally sleeping in longer stretches. You are still nursing every 3-4 hours during the day and you usually wake up once before I go to sleep around 10 to eat. You are going to sleep around 7.
We gave you rice cereal for the first time this month but it didn't seem to go very well. You liked it, but I think it bothered your tummy so we are going to hold off for a few more weeks!

The big news this month is that at 4.5 months you started sitting up on your own!! It was crazy and I couldn't believe it. I remember hoping you would be sitting up by the time we went to Michigan in August and you definately beat that goal for me! You love to sit up, look around and play with your toys! You are an absolute joy my sweet boy - I don't think we could love you any more if we tried!

iPhone Upload :)

I can't believe that as I am typing this summer is just about over! Connor is already back in school and the weather *might* be starting to get a little cooler! I have been terrible about uploading my phone pictures, so here goes catching up from three months on :)
I still can't get over the fact that I have TWO BOYS! I love watching there sweet, sweet little bond form. Connor can make Evan laugh like no one else can - he just ADORES his big brother!

Our summer was a pretty mild one, we enjoyed being able to take lots of walks!

It wears a boy out being so cute and smiling away! This was how my little buddy would help me sew. He would play on the floor and then sleep in his carseat or the floor :)

I don't have any words, this is just cute :)

We planted our garden this year! We didn't get a great crop this year, but it was still fun. This is how Evs and I helped - we were more of the harvesters this year! We did get lots of green beans and it was fun to make them for Evs. He LOVED them!

As E gets more and more interactive Connor has really loved playing with him, he seriously can't stop kissing his head. I kind of can't blame him on that one, I cant stop kissing it either :)

We got new sidewalks and driveway entrances on our street this summer and it was some serious entertainment for these kiddos. I think we played outside in the dirt and rocks every night for almost the whole summer. It was so fun and they loved it! Connor totally loved all of the construction trucks around the house for the summer too.

We went to Purina Farms with our neighbors and had fun seeing the dog show and animals! It was a really great summer, I can't believe it is already time for fall weather and PUMPKIN PATCHES!!

3 Month Pictures!

Our amazing photographer, Katharine Roberds took some three month pics of E and C and I LOVE them! She did and always does such a great job. I have a very special place in the dining room I want to hang all these pictures from this first year of Evan :)
